• Email address — when you sign up for an account or subscribe to a paid plan.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Usage data — pages visited, matches viewed. No third-party trackers.
• Uploaded documents — capability PDFs you upload to boost your profile. Processed by our AI, not shared.

How we use your data

• Generate and improve your company profile.
• Match your profile against open government tenders.
• Send you weekly email digests of matched tenders (if subscribed).
• Process payments via Stripe.
• Improve the quality of our matching and recommendations.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
• We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
• We don't store payment card details (Stripe handles this).

Data from public sources

TenderFolio collects publicly available government tender listings and contract award data from federal, state, territory, and local government sources across Australia, along with publicly available business registry information. All of this is public record.

AI-derived analysis

Some sections of TenderFolio (historical context, market concentration, scope risks, hard-gate extraction, generated bid drafts) are produced by AI analysis of publicly available tender documents and contract data. These are derived analytical summaries, not official statements or professional advice.

AI-derived content is marked with disclaimers throughout the product. Users should verify any specific claim against the original source before acting on it. We do not guarantee accuracy and accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of AI-derived summaries.

If you are an agency or supplier and believe an AI-derived field is materially wrong, please use our content removal process.

How competitor tracking works

Competitor data shown in TenderFolio (in the Writer-tier Intelligence dashboard and weekly digest) is drawn entirely from publicly available sources, including government contract award registers, business registries, and other published procurement records. None of the information you enter into your TenderFolio profile (capability tags, certifications, ABN, contact details, or draft bids) is ever used in another user's competitor view, or made visible to anyone outside your account.

What appears about a supplier in TenderFolio is what already appears in public records. If your business has won government contracts, those public award records will surface in TenderFolio's view of you, just as they appear on the originating source.

Data retention

Your account data is retained while your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your profile and match history remain accessible on the free tier. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

Cookies

We use a single httpOnly session cookie (tf_session) for authentication. No tracking cookies. No cookie banner required.
